So… what prompted us to do this?

Everyone knows we should be reading the news. But we don’t. We get our fill up from a bit of Instagram, a bit of Reddit, the occasional LinkedIn, maybe you and a mate chatted about it… and you just piece together what’s going on in the real world.

But let’s be real, that’s a terrible way to stay informed. You miss important stories, get half-baked takes, fall for ragebait, or just end up confidently wrong.

Annoying part is, there are no real shortcuts. You want to know what’s going on? You’ve got to read the news. We don’t because legacy news outlets kind of stinks. Paywalls everywhere, articles that drag, tabs that don’t load. So you get frustrated and go straight back to scrolling

So friends, that’s where we come in:

We study Economics (🫩), so we have no choice but to read the news properly, we cut out the nonsense for you, and turn 1,000 word articles into short, sharp, and sometimes unhinged summaries you can get through in a few minutes. These summaries are broken down into four sections: Markets, Business, Politics, Misc., and will be sent out weekly on a Monday.
